Fred Flintstone had to have wheels, but if he were driving to
the north end of downtown Santa Barbara today, he'd find his saber-toothed

to park.
The parking problem puts us in
a Flintstone frame of mind, because the problem is so old that
it qualifies as prehistoric, and the thinking of city officials
so thick as to resemble the rocks in the quarry where Fred worked.
